a moment

breathe, play, read

I have a notebook filed with scribbles, a note app with philosophical oddities, a brain with countless to reflect on.

And yet, I chose a song with only emotion to write on, no real memory; to write simply from the soul. I needed something to cushion all the earnest feeling that is to come. What better than a song that simply grounds and brings peace?

Because that’s all that we really want, right? Peace.

How to achieve that? Well, that’s what self-actualisation is (bravely assuming I’d be able to recognise it if it hit me square in the face) right? Shoutout to monks, and people who don’t overthink it; this blog isn’t for them.

This blog, is for you, the readers with a spinning internal monologue, or dread the “Sunday Scaries”, or feel like the human experience has been an alienating one. If it’s all of the above…twinsies!

My goal for 2023 is to become mindful; this process is to create space for all the stories to live. Then the rest becomes peace. That’s it, it’s really that simple. A place to practice sharing earnestly.

And because reading is meditation, and meditation creates feelings of peace, perhaps it will be the same for you. A win-win.

enjoy the chaos in-between
